Bihar SHS Ophthalmic Assistant Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details

Candidates must meet one of the following sets of qualifications:

Option 1:

• Passed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics

• Completed a 2-year Diploma in Optometry,
  OR

• Completed 2 years of training as an Ophthalmic Assistant at any recognized government hospital, as per NPCB (National Programme for Control of Blindness) guidelines.

OR

Option 2:

• Passed I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) or 10+2 with Biology or Mathematics

• Hold a 2-year Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant from a government, private, or semi-government institute recognized by the Government of Bihar.
